An AI-powered web app that combines a camera photo with a short questionnaire to analyse skin and suggest a personalised care ritual and products.

The project

Skin Architect is an AI skin-analysis application embedded in the Collagen Life website. Visitors complete the analysis in a few steps in the browser — no app download — and receive a personalised care ritual and product recommendation.

The need

With a wide product range, visitors kept getting stuck on "which one do I need?". The goal was an experience that answers that question on the brand's behalf, builds trust and connects to a sale.

How it works

1. **Consent:** explicit consent for biometric data processing and the privacy notice
2. **Age:** the base input for the analysis
3. **Focus areas:** loss of elasticity, fine lines, dullness, weak brows/lashes
4. **Body signals:** puffiness, digestion, low energy, fitness goals — signs that come from within
5. **Photo:** the camera opens; capture starts automatically once the lighting, face-position and gaze indicators turn green
6. **Skin-type confirmation:** the user confirms or corrects the skin type predicted by the algorithm
7. **Result:** a personal "skin passport" and recommended products

What was built

• A browser-based, mobile-first multi-step analysis flow
• Camera access with live indicators that guide capture quality
• AI model integration for image analysis
• Recommendation logic that merges questionnaire and photo data
• Privacy by design: the photo is permanently deleted seconds after analysis; no biometric data is stored
• Embedded in the brand's existing site with the same design language
